See me. I see you
Phelia Barouh's Black Box
What does the relationship between the photographer and their object look like in a small moment in time that encloses the intimate space where the portrait’s been born? What is the level of vulnerability that we allow ourselves to show when standing in front of the camera while waiting to be seen from somebody else’s point of view? Do you need courage in order to let yourself see or be seen?
See me. I see you exhibition, a selection of photography portraits by Phelia Barouh dares to look the city in the eye while allowing people who make that city to look into themselves.
