Competition Terms

All photographs entered into the competition must have been taken between 10 September and 5 October 2014.
The theme for 2014 is "The Street: States and Conditions"
Entries must be in digital format only.

To be eligible, photographs must be:

- at least 3000 pixels wide;
- at least 150 dpi in resolution;
- in JPEG format;
- preferably in AdobeRGB or sRGB colour spaces (no CMYK).

The competition is anonymous.
The names, initials or logos of the authors must not appear on the submitted entries. The names will be entered only in the online submission form which will be active between 00:00 hours on 10 September 2014 and 18:00 hours on 5 October 2014. The names will not be visible to the jury. Entrants’ anonymity is guaranteed by the electronic submission and evaluation system.

Each entrant may submit only 1 entry to the competition.
Entries that violate human dignity and/or do not meet the technical specifications will be disqualified.

The deadline for submission is 18:00, Sunday, 5 October 2014.

Prizes

The organizers will provide a prize fund worth BGN 2,500, including cash prizes and specialized photographic materials, and undertake to promote the results of the competition.

A selection of 25 photographs will be printed at the expense of the organizers and exhibited at the UniCredit Studio Contemporary Art Gallery from 16 October to 15 November 2014. The three finalists will be awarded at the official opening of the exhibition.

Join Photo Finish

Eligible for participation are only photographs submitted by 18:00 hours on 5 October 2014  via the online submission form.

By submitting a photograph to Photo Finish each entrant declares that:

- The submitted photograph is their original work.

- The photograph was taken between 10 September and 5 October 2014.

- The entrant is submitting only one photo to the competition.

- The submitted photograph is not a photo-montage or digital manipulation.

- The entrant grants the Fotofabrika Foundation the right to publish, exhibit (if among the finalists), screen, print the photograph submitted to the competition.
