To supplement the Palermo. Box. Me. exhibition, FotoFabrika is setting a real box ring in the middle of the Zaimov Park, inviting everyone who’d like to learn more about boxing, photography and anything they might have in common, to step “between the ropes”. The idea of the “Photography and Boxing Against Violence” initiative is old and tested: the most powerful means to countearct violence and aggression are art and sports. The event is partially oriented towards socially disadvantaged children and young people from marginalized groups who can receive their first lessons in boxing and photography.
